We are creating a photo montage for a party. We have loaded pictures and music. We are now trying to load some text slides in between pictures and cannot figure out how to do it. Can someone help.
Also, we are trying to create a Star Wars style scrolling white text on blackbackground parody introduction. Can this be done in VideoWave. We are working on a Dell Inter lap top that is about 5 years old so maybe it is too old. Any advice would be appreciated.

I hope that you are using VideoWave (Edit Video/Advanced), or you are using the wrong program to build your production.  The following is for using VideoWave:

To put the text, on a slide, in between pictures, right click on the picture that you want the text to appear before, and select "Insert Color Panel".  Then, pick the color panel that you want as background for your text, then click OK.

Now, click on that colored panel, and click on the Internal Track tab.  Then, click on the Add Text Icon (A+), up above the Preview screen.  Edit the text that is shown in the colored panel, then click the Done button, on the left side of the Production Editor. That text will only last as long as that colored panel shows, in your production.

Repeat as necessary.

For the scrolling text, you can add a black panel/Internal track, and click on Add Text Effects, then click on the Basic Credits, I think.  You will have to adjust the time of the color panel to fit to the time that you want to see the text scroll.

That is a short version on how to do it.  There are many different things that you can do with the text, but it is best to experiment on your own.  That is half the fun of doing the video editing.
