Another Freeze Problem

Gateway E-400
XP Pro SP3
version 2000
Pent 4 2.40 GHz
2.40 GHz 512 Ram
2.0 USB Generic


So I plug in my USB device. Wizard starts. Computer freezes. Have to manually turn off computer.
Reboot with out device.

Help?

Try a different USB port.

glare.gif Thanks. But I tried every hole I have. Then rolleyes.gif decided to check my driver system one more time, this time going directly to the manufacture. Low and behold I need to be updated. So now its not frozen, just cant get a smoothe capture.
