I have an old collection of LP records. How do I get the audio from records to my computer. I'm using the USB connection and am plugged into the Left & Right speakers on the record player. MTR

If you want to use your USB port, do you have the Roxio USB 2.0 Capture Device ? If you do, connect the analog out ports from the record player (assume it has it's own amp) to the analog ports on the USB capture device and plug that into your uSB 2.0 port (best to plug into one on the back of your computer).
If you don't have the capture device, and have an adapter that you can go from the player speakers to a mini plug, you can plug that into your sound card line-in port. The go to your roxio program and click on Audio/music and then capture from sound card.
A little more information as to what exact hardware you have and some information about your computer (video card, sound card etc.) would be very helpful also. You can add that to your profile at the bottom of your posts. Click on "My Controls" at the top of the screen and then on edit my profile.
