I wanted to capture video to my hard drive for editing. I figured I should click on "Capture Video" since the burn option only goes to a dvd. Upon clicking the Capture Video icon a window opens and says,

The current display settings do not meet the minimum requirements for this application. Please change the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels or higher and the color quality to 16 bit or higher.

My current video settings are 1920 x 1080 and 32-bit.

Why won't the application accept my video settings?

I don't even know if this will work for me because I can't get past the display settings.

There is something about your video that isn’t working…

Does Edit Video report the same thing?

Make sure you have the drivers updated for your card and try setting it down to the 1024 X 768 it is asking for…
