Can't Install Error Code 000D

Greetings, all. I bought the Creator 2010 this afternoon, and can't get it installed. Every time I load the disc, I get code 000D. I tried copying the disc to a temp folder and run it from there - same thing.

I'm running Windows XP with Service Pack 3
AMD TurionX2 Dual Core
1.74GB of RAM

Before I send an email to support, I thought I'd give this a chance. I've seen several posts here like this one, and the problems seem to get handled. I'd appreciate any input.

Sounds like Bad disc. Check for possible smudges, glue, etc at the flip side of the disc. If possible try cleaning the disc and then try copying the content of the disc and test again. If it fails, request Roxio Support for a free download link.
