I have a LG burner that can read/write DVD-RAM single sided rewritable disks.
The other day I purchased two. When I had time try them one worked. The other was locked and i could not write data to that disk. When I tried to write some data it just said it was locked. It did not ask for a code or password to unlock it.
Any ideas how to "unlock" the disc.

Please provide more information about the process, application, product used etc before any suggestions can be made. Preferably step by step.

sounds like a media problem, and the burner is not handling the exception (error while writing to the media) very well?
check if there happens to be a firmware update available from LG.
also look for visible marks or bad spots on the media.
just a thought.

I guess you've seen the answers you got to the same question you posted on Macworld.
If you want any help here you'll need to give us more information as Firenhancer requested, else you should take the disc back to the vendor and get help there.
