Can some one give me the settings for removing noise from captured tape files. I have found the help instructions in creator 2010 digitize lps and tapes confusing. I don't know what to set to remove noise.

That is a trial and error process since it depends on what the noise is, how loud it is, what other audio is there etc. Do you have Creator 2009 Pro? If so, you have Sound Soap which will do the audio clean up almost automatically. If you have a lot of hiss/static, make sure that the tape deck and the computer are electrically grounded together.
Once you capture the audio, add the file to "Edit Audio" then use the Clean up utility. You can moce the sliders to get the best audio. (By-pass means the original audio). Nothing is actually changed until you click OK.

I have roxio creator 2010 pro and I do have sound soap. If I understand you using sound soap would be simpler and better.

I find it more effective. Watch this if you haven't. Bias has a lousy registration process but stick with it. BTW, you have to use it as a stand-alone and not as a plug in.
