Just because a DVD is rewritable does not mean you can add new files at any time. It all depends on how the original data was burned to the disc. As sknis has posted you will have to tell us what program was used, how it was done. myDVD can never be used to add files to an already burned DVD.

my picasa program made the disc on a dvd-rw and my puter won't accept the disc to use roxio to make a newrecording that will play on my television dvd player.  this dvd recording has about 200 pictures from a picasa album.  it will play back on my puter but now the t v dvd player......thank you.   skater2

First of all, lets really clear up what program you have. You are posting in Creator 2009 but state you have Creator 9. Those are 2 completely different programs. In fact there really is no Creator9 but there is a program called "Easy Media Vreator 9" which is now3 versions ago. So tell us exactly what program you have and give the correct, full name.

The DVD that you made through Picasa cannot be used by Roxio. Hopefully you still have the photos on your hard drive otherwise you will have to copy them back to the hard drive from the Picasa DVD.

To create a DVD playable on your DVD player you will have to use Videowave to assemble your slideshow, add music, transitions, etc. You then save the project as a VW project file and exit Videowave. Next you launch myDVD, add the VW project file using Add Video, create the menu and then burn.
