just easy cd/dvd for windows xp. Ive tried using converter programs from cnet and converted the you tube selections to wmv format and when it came time to burn on a dvd it said failed to start image writing operation error while burning image. Could my drive be bad? I was able to burn music on a cd. I have done this process before and had no problems.

Which version please? Some versions do what you want, some don't and the advice we give depends on the version you're running.

Johnjms,

You're being deliberately evasive.

No more help until you tell us what Roxio software you have that you need help with.

If you have a converter, that will convert the Realjunk format video files, convert them to .avi files.

Sorry, there are two different versions of that software, but NEITHER of them will handle YouTube's FLV files.
