When I try to convert .mts files to .mpg-2 using SyncIt! (drag and drop convert, Creator 2009) the program appears to start, issues a few "time remaining" messages (each of which increases significantly), then issues a "conversion canceled" message.  File size is not a factor.  I cannot get SyncIt! to work on any of my .mts files.  So I use VideoWave to import and convert.  I was hoping SyncIt! would convert faster (VideoWave is pitifully slow).  If they use the same algorithm the time will be the same, but I'd still like to know why SyncIt! cancels itself.

You find something faster, you go for it!!! laugh.gif

VW & SyncIt are 2 completely different programs.

It would appear that the files you are giving SyncIt are not something it can work with… As you can see, I have quite a few here which are similar (m2ts) and they go through fine.

Yes as firenhancer mentioned, VCC would be another good alternative.

Can you tell us more about these files, where they come from?

Likewise tell us more about your PC, like I have in my signature.
