I just installed the SP1 update that Roxio's updater offered me today.
On a Q6700 w/ 8GB ram, an NVidia 8600 GTS, all on Win 7 RTM w/ latest drivers:
Rendering a 20 minute vide in video wave (~250 images total, with random transitions and automotion on):
1920x1080 WMV software rendering fails, announcing that there isn't enough storage to complete the task.
1920x1080 wmv hardware rendering completed, but the prior image remains in the background of a following, smaller slide remains.
I've not tried the mp4 rendering with the version yet.
The incorrect rendering makes videowave pretty much unusable for HD presentations.
I'm willing to help debug if someone wants more info.
2010 SP1 Videowave still can't render HD videos correctly

Hardware assistend avchd 1920x1080 completed, which is an improvement, but the visual glitches remain (smaller slide includes preceding larger slide as a slide background).

Someone else reported this issue and it is related to your video card's capability. They resolved the issue by purchasing a higher end card (9800GT). This may not be a solution for you, but it may not be a software problem.
