I am a Toast 10 (v10.0.3) user who is also using Turbo.264 (v1.4) to speed-up conversions on my iMac G5. I also use Roxio Streamer to watch videos on my iPod touch and on computers away from home. I am finding that videos (.AVI format)
I want to add to Streamer, converted by Toast using the Turbo.264 hardware, do not appear in the Streamer video list and thus are not viewable using Streamer. The converted videos are viewable by all other means. I've found that the total bit rates for videos converted with Turbo.264 are higher than they should be to work with Streamer (Kb Article 000061TT) The VIDEO bit rates of converted files conform to the Streamer specs, but the COMBINED video and audio bit rates go above the maximums allowed by Streamer.
When I remove the Turbo.264 stick from my computer's USB port, the videos work fine with Streamer, but conversions is molasses-slow. The conversion speed gain with Turbo.264 is truly remarkable, I'd hate to give it up when using Streamer! Is there anything that can be done about this problem?

I want to make sure I understand this correctly. You are using the Streamer setting in the Convert window and have the TurboHD connected. The resulting export creates a higher bit rate than when using the same setting without the TurboHD connected. Is that right? I also presume you have Streamer set to High quality rather than Medium or Low.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
