Toast hangs at multiplexing when burning TiVo Transfer files

I've been trying to burn to DVD some files transferred to my MBP with Tivo Transfer, but it hangs at 99% when multiplexing.
Tried to make a disc image, hangs at same point. I have to Force Quit to stop at this stage, because it's giving me the Spinning Beachball of Doom. It's not simple impatience; it'll go on for hours at this stage.

What the heck?

I want to upgrade to Snow Leopard, but if I can't get Toast and/or Tivo Transfer to work *now*...

I'm moving you to the forum where TiVo users may find your post. There seems to be something missing at the end of the video file that Toast is expecting or something is there that Toast doesn't handle properly. Try using the Toast Video Player app to trim off a little at the end of the video file to see if that helps.

I also get a hang during encoding tivo files for writing on a DVD (albeit HD source video) with toast 10.0.4. I also have to force-quit out of the app.
