0x80004005 Encoding menu error

I am still getting the "error while encoding menu" 0x80004005 even after installing hot fix: emc8_menuencode_hotfix.

In another post someone recommended using File->Burn w/myDVD. I tried this too but it stayed at 92% progress for at least 1 hour before I decided to kill the job.

Any suggestions?

Computer specs and amount of free space on your hard drive? Are you following the other recommendations on this board - e.g.; disconnect from the internet, defrag, reboot, shut down all other programs including anit-virus and anti mal-ware, etc?
