Hello All.

I know there must be thread on this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. My apologies. But the basic question is.. Are there performance benefits with Creator 2010 with Windows 7 vs Vista? Basically are there valid reasons for upgrading from VISTA to Windows 7.

Thanks.

I haven't seen any difference in application performance, but some applications do seem to launch faster. Once running, performance is the same. Win7 seems to boot faster for most users and definitely closes down faster than previous Windows. I think most of the 'improvements' won't be seen.

My Windows 7 H.P. 64 bit seems a lot snappier with bringing up applications and opening and closing windows compared to VISTA H.P 32 bit. However, I haven't yet loaded up all my applications. Some of the crap apps came with my PC.

Thanks for all the input! Based on your experiences, I can't find a real valid reason to go through the pain in the butt to upgrade. I think I'd wait until the next computer.

But obviously some of you did find a reason.

Thanks so much.

Tim
