Product is Registered but cannot get updates

I have purchased the Roxio VHS to DVD software over a year ago and everything was working fine but last month it stop reconizing the USB video capture plug so I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it. Now when I first installed it I registered it and it shows in my account but since I had to re-install it. I went to "Check for updates" and it indicates that my product is not register with FLEXnet Connect. The reason I am asking is because since this product is thinking its not registered it is not letting me capture home video. It says Signal Protected whenever I put a VHS in there. Please advise.

Try accessing the update from the Support (Software Updates) at the top of this page,
