I am using Easy Media Creator 10 Suite. Under the Copy Disc routine, I am trying to make copies of cds that have been produced from public meetings. These cds show to hold +/- 703 megs of data on a 700 meg disk.

When I try to copy, I insert the 700 meg blank cd and get an error message stating that the disk is not large enough to accomodate the disc copy. Any way to force it to burn up to the 700 megs or to get around this?

I do not want to use dvds for this but regular cds.

Try saving it as a disc image first and then try burning the saved disc image. Is this an Audio CD or Data CD?

It is a recording from a public meeting, so I guess that means it is an audio cd. Track01.cda is what the file name is on the disc.

Yes .cda would refer to be on a Audio CD. Saving disc image will save as bin/cue file.

Just for grins give this a try also.

Open Music Disc Creator.
Make sure you're on Audio Cd as the Project type.
Then go to the second box and hit Import from CD/DVD.
Let it Import and then look at the bar at the bottom. Is it Green or partially Red?
If it's Green then it will burn it all to 1 disc.If it's partially Red then that means you would need more than 1 disc.

A normal 80 min blank cd should have 703mb free.
This should fit.Especially since the Audio cd format restricts size to around 80 minutes.
Audio cd's go by time whereas Data cd's go by size.
Since an Audio cd is made to a certain coding there is always the same size file for the same time. You can only fit so much on a standard cd.
