I have burned several DVD's from video, which are working fine on my computer and friends DVD player, however on my own SONY DVD player the DVD's only play for about 1 min. and then get stuck. I have heard that SONY players are not as forgiving as other DVD players.
The Sony DVD player is a fairly old one. I used NERO to burn the DVD's, can you suggest another programme to write the DVD's with?

Ouch!

Go get some real media and try it - Verbatim & Taiyo Yuden are the top brands.

Actually Memorex aren't Memorex everyone I test are Ritek. According to digitalFAQ.com, Ritek is 2nd class media (ok or passable disc's)..

I would take the advice given in Post #4. I continually test Taiyo Yuden & Verbatim media, at least in the US they are the #1 & #2 CD & DVD media IMO, and the only media i use...
