Guys,

Apologies in advance, I think this is in the wrong area but there doesn’t seem to be a forum dedicated to CinePlayer.

Today I bought and installed CinePlayer BD 5 from the Roxo online store. This was not only to watch BlueRay films, but more importantly to provide ProLogic codecs for viewing live TV in Media Center under Windows 7.
Unfortunately after installation and a few reboots, it doesn’t seem to provide those codecs to Media Center sad.gif
MCDU doesn’t show any new codecs.

Can anyone help?

Cheers,
Kev.

Where did you see anything about ProLogic codecs in the product description? I didn't see it, although you can access online content. I don't think it is referring to live TV, though.

On this page under features where it says:
"Dolby Pro Logic - Experience multi-channel surround sound from any stereo source. ProLogic takes a 2-channel source and transforms it into 4-channel playback"

Thanks, I see it now. The codec must be there, then. I don't know why it doesn't show up.

Does the Media Center, in Win 7, use outside codecs?

I dont think so. MCDU shows other codecs I've installed, including NVIDIA decoders which I can control and view the changes within Win 7 Media Center.
