I borrowed my friend's copy of roxio creator 09 and his usb capture device with the intention of recording xbox 360/ps3 gameplay etc. Once, I installed Roxio, I plugged in the USB video capture device hoping that roxio would recognize it. It did not find a driver. It asked me to search the installation cd for the driver but that did not work either. I turned to the roxio support page and couldn't download the driver.

The download at the bottom does not allow me to install the driver but sends me a webpage where i can download the webpage to download the webpage, etc.
When I asked him the next day for a cd for the usb capture, he couldn't find it.
Is there a specific cd that comes with the device that I need?
I am using Windows Vista Service Pack 1.

Yes, he uninstalled it. But the problem is that my computer won't recognize the software for the device.

I'm sorry, but unless you own the software you're trying to use on your machine I can't help you any further. It's a breach of the user licence for the owner to lend it to you.
