I've used Roxio products for years (Creator ver. 5, 7, and 9) I no longer have a need for the many features of Creator, but would still like to be able to copy my DVDs and make labels. Easy DVD copy 4 premier appears to be perfect for me, so I went to EBay to see what was available, to my surprise I found someone who claims to have 2 "New" copies with the activation  codes, for the unbelievable price of $15.00 delivered. The seller guarantees that it is a valid never used legal disc and offers your money back if it's not. Sounds to good to be true, my question is: Is there any way to tell if a disc is legal, and not a bootleg, or duplicate copy, or had it's activation key used already.

There are also "Full versions of Creator 2010 for bid that go for around $20.00, another to good to be true item.

There are a lot of possible reasons why something is up on eBay.

It could be overstock, it could be a dealer getting rid of old stock, it could be somoene who bought it and changed their mind - and probably other reasons I can't think of offhand.

Either you think you are reporting something to Roxio (and this is a user's Forum, so you aren't) or you are asking if something is probably OK.

While there is no way for us to be absolutely certain about a particular copy, if you post the link for the specific auction we can give you some idea of what we think about it.

Just waving your hands about and jumping up and down isn't accomplishing anything.

If you can buy Roxio in the original box for $20 then you have a good deal.  Beware of other offers.

... and of course the return policy to which you will be subject on your purchase will be that of the seller, not Roxio....
