I have purchased RoxioCreator 2010 on-line. I got an e-mail with a site where I could download 3 files:
1. Roxio2010Content_HV15AXDOSQA.EXE
2. RoxioHigh-DefBlu-rayDiscPlugin:HU05BXD0C12.EXE
3. RoxioMyDVDVideoLab_HX300DXDOMV1.EXE

When I tryed to install file 1 I got an error saying "You must Install Roxio Creator 2010 before installing the content".

Roxio Support informed that I should only install files 2 and 3. But what is the Roxio2010Content?

I don't have the exact filenames and sizes to hand at the moment, but if you bought a Creator 2010 you should have a large 'Program' file, and a 'Content' file. That is, one filename will have 'content' in it like yours, and the other will have the word 'program' in it.

The program file is the installer for Creator 2010, and the content file has extra themes and 'frills'.

Are you sure you ordered and paid for Creator 2010?? If you did, it looks like something is badly amiss.

edit: I knew I had them somewhere smile.gif I have:
RoxioCreator2010Pro_HX19A010R14.exe which is 1,114,868 KB and
RoxioCreator2010Content_HV13AXD0SQA.exe which is 1,072,764 KB

I also have a smaller file with some add-ons which were current when I got mine. As you can see we have slightly different versions of the content file, but you have no program file unless you were actually buying MyDVD Video Lab.

Looks more like you purchased VideoLab 10. The Content has additional files like MyDVD menu styles, etc. You should definitely install it.

Is it possible that there is now a "VideoLab 2010" or "myDVD Premier 2010" since the OP stated he was instructed to download the "2010 Content" file? Another total mixup at Roxio? blink.gif

The files posted are for MyDVD 10 Premier purchase.

lusodan - Please install the main program file first (RoxioMyDVDVideoLab_HX300DXDOMV1.exe) before installing content. Please let me know if you still encounter the same issue after you have installed the main program file.

So does that mean that "Roxio2010Content_HV15AXDOSQA.EXE" also applies to "MyDVD 10 Premier" and "myDVD Lab 10"?
