I have the 2010...I copied a VHS to a DVD disk....it plays on my DVD player but wont play on my computer or any other DVD player. I thought 2010 could make it so. What am I doing wrong or what can I do to get then DVD to play on all DVD players.

How did you copy the "VHS to a DVD disk"? Provide details from start to end of how you created the DVD. What program(s) did you use from Creator 2010 to accomplish that?

First, I want to make sure that you have Creator 2010 and not some other software like Easy Media Creator 10 or one of the OEM software packages that come with the computer. Or Easy VHS to DVD.

1) How did you "copy" the VHS to DVD?
2) Did you capture the video using the Roxio capture device?
3) Did you go directly to disc or did you capture the video to your computer?
4) Do you have a program on your computer that will allow you to play DVDs?
5) Have you taken the DVD to a shop that sells DVD players and tried it on several of them?
6) What type and manufacturer of DVD discs are you using?  That mean +R, -R, RW, etc.
7) How did you burn the disc?
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
