I had EMC Creator 10 installed and then installed Roxio 2010. Saved 2010 Jewel Cases but they would not open. Removed both programs and reistalled Roxio 2010. Now can only open 2010 Jewel Cases and not any EMC Creator 10 Suite Jewel Cases.

That's correct.
It has been discussed many times in the forums here - you must have missed them when checking before you posted.
The 'break' occurred between EMC 10.0 and EMC 10.1, when Label Creator was altered.
.JWL files saved before version 10.1 can't be used in versions 10.1 onwards, and vice versa.

Yes???
2010 will not open most earlier JWL files… There are some, I think it will open EMC 10 AND 2009 files but not EMC 10.1 – Brendon knows and I get it mixed up
Point is, if it don’t, it won’t

Thanks Brendon & Jim, That is what you call a real pain. I have hardly used this discussion page as have rarely had any problems ever since the old "Easy CD Creator" days of Adaptec Inc. in '97. I do remember now that I lost a heap of Jewel Cases once before when doing an "Upgrade". I believe it all has a lot to do with 'date of birth'. Thanks anyhow fellas, I appreciate you time.

Thanks Brendon, I uninstalled all Roxio files, reinstalled Roxio 2010 and then installed EMC 9 & 10. Now I open the EMC Jewel Cases by using "open with". Same with Roxio 2010. All is good.
Thanks for your reply on the 6th.
Best Wishes, GeoffT
