I have been able to do this to some extent with open source tools, but would not mind paying for an all-in-one solution. I am getting tired of moving video files from Mac to PC to Mac again for the various tools to be available to me.

I create DVDs with menus and submenus and most of the tools I have seen for PAL to NTSC conversion only will replicate the primary video and a single language: I want to get the whole ball of wax with as little loss as possible. I could just create two different projects, but would rather do the authoring once.

There isn't any copy protection issues, and I generally set these things as region-free discs, but before I pop the $50 for Popcorn, I just thought I would ask if the software will do the conversion that I seek.
Thanks

Popcorn can do the conversion but it needs to reauthor the video DVD. This means that Popcorn has to create a new menu. The process involves Popcorn re-encoding the video (because the resolution and frame rate need to be changed). I believe an existing Dolby AC3 track can be retained without re-encoding the audio track but you won't get multiple audio tracks. My sense is your result will be much the same you now are getting but without need for the PC.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
