converting V8 tapes into dvd

I do not have my video camera anymore to transfer my V8 to cassette and tnen to DVD, therefore How do I go about transferring MY V8 tape onto a dvd. Thank you!!

I ran into the same problem not to long ago and I, like you had disposed of my old V8 tape camera. So I went out looking for a used one and lucked out and found an almost new one with all the original cables, hardware, instruction manual and even the original case. Got it for a "song" too. Now it is a simple matter to use that camera and transfer my tapes to the computer.

Bottom line---If you don't have your original camera or another piece of hardware that can play the tapes, you're pretty much stopped.
