Creator 2010 SP1 installation update failure to instal

Have tried unsuccessfully to install this update. Installation starts the stops with this error message.
"cannot delete target file C:\program files\roxio2010\common\sonicHDDemuxer.dll.
Anyone else have a problem? My OS Windows Media Cntre

Turn off/disable your anitvirus and give sp1 a go.
VISTA Home Premium +SP2 32 bit, Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit sp1 and 64 bit sp1, XP Pro --->multiboot

Close down all Roxio apps and then run the update.

still cannot delete the file. Have tried manually deleting but "access denied file in Use" error

Reboot into safe mode (F8 at boot time) and then try the sp1 update. If that fails then try:

Clean install instructions for Creator 2009 and Creator 2010 on Windows XP



Clean install instructions for Creator 2009 and 2010 on Windows Vista and Windows 7

Do not skip or add any steps.
