Adding text effects/text to a movie

Hi
Im trying to create a movie and want to add some text to it...working in videowave when i press add text effects and then a little square appears ans says "type your text here"...however no text appears...none at all...the only thing that appears and stays is the little box that says "type your text here"...any help would be much appreciated!

I don't understand - what text do you expect to appear? Did you try and replace the ""type your text here" by typing over it?

You will have to explain exactly what you are doing unsure.gif

Thank you guys for you replys...it was actually one of the most simple things but it took me a whole day of furstration to actually realize that my keyboard wasnt working properly!!!

Sorry for the sounding as stupid as that!!

It is a royal pain, when a keyboard starts heading south on you.  I've been down that road before.  I thought I was doing something wrong, when I was working in a program, but it ended up being the keyboard.

I hope that you have the keyboard working now, but I wouldn't hesitate to get a new one.
