I travel alot and purchased this software to convert some of my DVD's to IPOD format to view on the airplane. However, the convert system will not let me open the DVD's (locked Symbol). Did I just buy this software for nothing? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Commercial DVDs are copy-protected with both region coding and content scrambling.

Roxio software is not allowed to defeat copy protection on DVDs, because that is criminal in the USA.

It seems you bought the software for something it isn't allowed to do, and neither are you if you live in the USA. sad.gif
