My composites work with Easy VHS to DVD, but my s-video does not. I bought a new s-video cable and tried on 2 different VHS players: 1) Philips DVP3050V dvd/vcr Player and 2) Magnavox DV220MW9 dvd/vcr player.
In both cases, after setting capture to s-video, i get sound, but no video.
It works find with composite cables and set to composite.
This has me stumped....Any ideas?

Long shot....when you have the s-video hooked up you have the yellow composite cord unplugged,correct.
