After installation I can use C & C 3 but after I do a disc cleanup on my computer I can't use C & C 3. I click on the desktop icon and nothing happens. I also go to the startup menu and click on the program and nothing happens. I am useing A gateway computer w/windows vista premium home edition. Like I said before, it works after installation but not after disc cleanup. Is this process deleting files or something like that? And yes it is a legitamant copy bought from Curcuit City

Hello seasparrow,
Yes, your difficulty is caused by using a registry cleaner on Copy and Convert 3.
Please see the topic HERE in the EMC 9 forum for a full explanation of what happens and how to fix it. I've just updated the topic to include Copy & Convert 3
To fix the problem permanently, please download the version 9 "Repairer" from HERE.
-unzip it and run it.
-give it your CD key when requested, and your registry will be permanently repaired and immune to being broken by a registry cleaner.
Regards,
Brendon

You should use the cleaner to break it, then after it's broken use the repairer to fix it. That should do it.
I don't think it'll work if the registry isn't broken, but once it has done its work the registry should not get broken any more.
