Incompatible disc

Why is it that it says I have an incompatible disc?

i used a DVD-R and a DVD+R

Ideas????

Open Device manager and post your drives ID string exactly like Device Manager displays it.

Mine says "TSSTcorp CDRWDVD TSL462D ATA Device

That burner cannot burn DVDsm it only reads then. Its a DVD-ROM
