Having the same problem of the install rollback under 64 bit Win 7 ult.  I understand there's a patch?  How do I get it?  Roxio email tech support is just about useless...

It should be available if you go to the Home screen and check for upgrades but just check here for the SP1 update.

Hey Paul. The SP1 won't help if Creator is not installed.

Have you tried disabling Anti-Virus? Without knowing whats causing the rollback it is hard to tell you how to fix it.

No luck.
Same problem. Setup has determined that I don't have the proper products installed.

Contact support. They will provide you with a workaround if you're getting the "Configuration is not supported" message.

So far they deny there is a problem and refuse to provide anything except boilerplate suggestions.

You didn't even try, since Du told you to!!!

Re-read his post carefully and follow his instructions. Probably won't hear anything over the week end but something will happen next week.

Have tried 3 "clean" installations so don't jump to conclusions.
Will be emailing him .reg file on Sunday per his request.

@tjincville
I understand that this can be frustrating, but don't give up, it is fixable.

As "Sonic_Boom" said "Contact support. They will provide you with a workaround if you're getting the "Configuration is not supported" message."

Read this thread, post#6, and you can see that support does/can provide the file.

@ogdens
Thanks for pointing that out... I may have misread.  unsure.gif
It can be frustrating at times when a piece of software does not install (been there with Creator Pro), and I was only trying to alay his concerns.  mellow.gif
Thanks again smile.gif

I have contacted support many  times.  They have not been helpful and specifically deny there is any file that will help.

Hi tjincville -

I have reviewed your support tickets and show that you returned Creator 2010 on 11/16/2009 and you have not submitted a webticket under your registered forum e-mail address since then. I also couldn't find any tickets this year under your name.

Did you repurchase the software? When you return the software, it usually requires a signed letter of destruction.

Thanks,

Jon

Update: I'm only responding because I was alerted to Brendon's update and want to close this thread if you returned the software.

Brendon: you ever check the dates before your pile on???

The OP, tijncville hasn't been on the board in 3 months… So what is your point?
