Hi, I need help.

Using Popcorn 4, I have converted a personal DVD to mov and mp4 formats so I can import, one of them to iMovie (mac) for editing.  Both video conversions are in a folder on my desktop.  iMovie does not accept either one.  What do I need to do to get iMovie to accept one of them?

Thanks, in advance.

Either use the AppleTV preset or the Digital Video (DV) preset. Popcorn and Toast place a text track on several of the export formats which cause the file not to be readable by iMovie. You can remove the text track from the video files you already created using QuickTime Pro (version 7). Choose Show Movie Properties and you'll get a window where the different tracks are described. Select the text track and click the delete button. Save the video file and iMovie will open it.
I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
