Scroll down and have a look at 'black and white and no signal' you may have the same problem that I had.  Chris

This says that the application is not Snow Leopard compatible (yet). System Requirements

Minimum System Requirements:
•Macintosh® computer with a Dual Processor PowerPC™ G5, or Intel® processor
•DVD recordable drive for DVD-Video creation
Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5
512MB RAM
•15GB free hard disk space recommended
•Available USB 2.0 port
•iMovie® HD, '08, or '09

Perhaps they are working to fix the PC products that won't work with W7.  sad.gif

Found solution,
Open HD/Library/Quicktime
Create a new folder on desktop, Move all the contents from this folder into the new folder.
Then reattempt.

I'm no longer seeing video on my MacBook Pro from the device. It worked before I updated to OS 10.6.x. However, I'm also not getting video from analog sources connected to my EyeTV Hybrid on either the MBP or on my G5 iMac (running 10.5.8). So it seems I'm having some issues with analog-to-digital video streams on my Macs. Removing codecs from the QuickTime folder made no difference. I've tried multiple source devices and the cables do work when connected directly to the TV.

So all I can do right now is confirm that some people aren't seeing video  and that it isn't the fault of the player, the cables, the connection and possibly not the Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for Mac hardware or software. In other words it seems to be a System-related issue rather than a Roxio-related issue. I'm going to keep troubleshooting this.

In the meanwhile, if anyone else with this problem has an EyeTV Hybrid I'd be interested in knowing if analog sources show video on their Macs (I'm referring to video coming in via composite or S-video, not via the tuner).

I'm just a fellow Toast-user so please don't blame Roxio for any misguidance I may provide. And do let me know if your issue gets solved. Cheers from Eugene, Oregon!
