creator 2010 crash after sp1 install

when trying to create dvd, error message about "commontools12.dll is not a valid windows image" appears.  I have tried to reinstall sp1 and creator 2010 to no avail .  any help would be appreciated

Go to Add/Remove Programs, scroll down to Creator 2010, click on Change, then on Repair.

Did you get any kind of message, when you tried to reinstall the SP1 patch?

Also, if the Repair is successful, you will have to reinstall the SP1 patch, also.
