Hello, I purchased a Dell XPS this May and it came with Roxio Creator Premier SD 10.3...well when I go to copy
a dvd it comes up as "NO DRIVE DETECTED" when the drive E is definitely there. I was told by friend to
uninstall/reinstall, which I just did and the same thing....not detcting a drive. Now the support page says that
upgrading usually resolve the issue. I'm NOT buying a upgrade for something that's FREE on computer and not
working. I haven't contacted Dell yet, but they like to try and get money out of you for software issues. I'm
hoping the help is here seeing how it's ur product.

It's DELL's product. They specified what they wanted in their OEM Creator Premier, and they agreed to supply all the support.
Not that we won't try to help you, but just so's you know who is supposed to be doing it.
If Windows sees your drive but Creator won't, you should do a "clean install" rather than just an uninstall/reinstall. Here's how to do that in XP or in VISTA.
Apart from that you could try reinstalling the burning engine with THIS. Unzip the file and run the EXE, then restart windows. It might help you.
