I wanted to know what I am missing compared to the deluxe and ultimate editon of roxio creator 10?  Also, does xe version have bd r/re support?

Roxio Creator XE does not have any support for Bluray authoring if that is what you are looking for. However, you could possibly burn Data on Bluray disc if you have Bluray recorder.

Are we talking about a Roxio Creator 2010 product or EMC 10 versions?

Creator 10 XE is a less-featured variant of EMC 10. It has no connection with Creator 2010.
P4 @3.20GHz on Albatron PX-865PE Pro II with 2GB DDR-SDRAM, FX5900XT video, Viewsonic monitors,
BENQ DW1640, in XP Pro and Windows 7

I blame it all on Global Warming / Global Cooling / Global Staying the Same  [pick one]
