I purchased Creator 2010 today from the website. I downloaded both the main program and the content executables. When I execute the first one, it unzips the files (the progress bar continues to the end) and then a second "Windows XP Setup" window appears with the message "Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components". When I hit "OK", both windows disappear and nothing else happens. I spoke to support, who suggested the download was corrupt. I re-downloaded, but have the same problem. Help!

Yes, I meet the requirements. I'm not sure if SP3 has been installed. Is there an easy way to check?

Click Start and right click My Computer. Choose Properties. The General tab shows the Service Pack if installed. Does it say Service Pack 3?

Yes, SP3 is installed - so, my machine meets the system requirements.

Try extracting the .exe using winzip or winrar and running from there.

Found some interesting info here. See if that applies in your case.
