Greetings,
I've opened a ticket with support on this incident, hopefully someone else has already solved it.

I'm running RoxioCreator 2010 on a Win7 box with 1TB drive, 600GB free space, 8GB RAM, QuadCore 2 duo, ATI Radeon HD 4850

I've got a .tivo file I pulled from my tivo with the tivo desktop app.

It transferred and plays fine, however I want to use it on my iphone/ipod, etc.

Selected the video to convert, select iphone, click start...
It gets about 27% done, then CRASH

Problem signature:
  Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
  Application Name: VideoConvert12.exe
  Application Version: 12.2.2.8
  Application Timestamp: 4abc8687
  Fault Module Name: sonic765mp4mux.ax
  Fault Module Version: 7.7.0.46181
  Fault Module Timestamp: 4a5330e0
  Exception Code: c0000005
  Exception Offset: 0000983f
  OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
  Locale ID: 1033
  Additional Information 1: 9635
  Additional Information 2: 963555575b712e6fdc6ebe719663dbb4
  Additional Information 3: adf0
  Additional Information 4: adf057d93f39dc4e98b01595c8c95693

I've also tried to convert to a Video File... many different formats, and it quickly finishes and leaves me with a ZERO KILOBYTE FILE!
Also tried to Burn to DVD and it CRASHES AS WELL

Has this worked for anybody?

Also tried doing all of the above on the Mac Side with Toast 10, and it crashes as well.

Quite possible the Tivo files are DRM protected.

But you would think it would say that upfront and not wait that long and crash... huh.gif

Would you put one of the TiVo files on UpForDownload or a similar site so we could download it and give it a try???

I would think so, too, but something tells me, that doesn't always happen. sad.gif
