I am trying to use Roxio Creator DE 9 to build a DVD of photos with music for my wifes 30th birtday party. The opening screen only allows me to create new dvd, add new movie to menu screen, and go from there. At the title menu, it does not give the option for slideshow only add new movie. Under file, new project, it does not give me an option to do it without menus.
This is what I have: Used create a new dvd, added a pic onto the menu as the button to play movie, built a scrolling movie of pics with transitions and music, previewed it, burned it to dvd+r and dvd-rw, placed in dvd player, when i do this, it only plays the menu screen, the button of the img on the menu screen doesnt light up or do anything. The menu continues to play over and over. If i hit stop and play button again, the movie automatically starts playing. Can someone please tell what i am doing wrong??????????????????? I have used up way too many dvds trying to fix this
dvd stays on title menu

Perhaps just about everything ! Read this and watch the videos. Try it and come back with any questions you may have. Remember that you have the "free" OEM castrated version of the software so you may not have all the features.
