Easy CD and DVD Burning (in Red Box): Vista & Windows 7 Compatible This software will not install

When trying to install this newly pruchased software, at about 90% through the installaion an error message appears stating: You must install Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 before installing the content. Then what was installed is "rolled back". The next error message states Roxio EC and DVD Burning Wizard was interrupted...try again --- and each succesive try fails likewise. What is the problem? OS = Vista Home Prem; 500 GB HD with lots of room and 8 GB Ram in a new computer.

You do have the Vista Certified version don't you??? (on the red box, in the corner)
