Hardware:  Gateway Tablet with Windows Vista sp2 & 2gig of ram
I have 2010 Special Edition with sp1

After converting several dvd movies and then copying the iPod formatted mp4's off to a NAS Drive I have gone from 24GB of free space to less then 2GB of free space on the Tablet's hard drive. I have also performed the normal cleaning procedures with out gaining any real space back. The only thing that I can figure that's taking all that extra space is the cache that is created when the dvd file is opened and made ready for converting. I need to recover the space but I am unable to locate where the cache is stored in order to remove or empty it. I would think that the program would automatically clear the cache when it's closed after use.

What can I do to clear the cache?

I use CCLeaner. It does a good job and allows you to make a backup first.  You can do this yourself but tools like CCleaner are faster and get more junk in my opinion.

You could also check the cache location (if not on default) by going to Options under Video Copy and Convert and delete the files.

The for the suggestions. I found the cache folder and then deleted all of the files not being used and it opened up about 32GB of space.  Again, thanks for the suggestions.

This is really something that Roxio needs to provide a solution for.
After doing a bunch of converts I filled my harddrive.

You might want to do the workaround in Post #3 of this thread.  You will find other non-Roxio junk in there, too.
