Im creating a highest quality blueray DVD. I first burned the project to a image disk file .iso. Then I loaded this useing the roxio load disc image app. ciniplayer then comes up and says it doesnt support blu-ray title playback check for updates. I check for updates and it says their are none. huh??? This is the cineplayer that came with roxie creator 2010 pro. How can this be??? version is 5.3.C02 Build 530B89C. It runs fine under myDVD preview project.

As indicated by Malatekid the post mentions what is included in existing versions of Creator 2010. In order to play BD content, you will require BD playback plugin

The short version is that the included CP does not read BD…

You have to buy the BD Player upgrade – http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/creator/...k/overview.html

$30 and all is good to go! It even works in XP which does not natively support BD.

oops thanks guys I will go ahead and do that. I appreciate the quick reply.

Still this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. When I bought the pro version it was specifically because I wanted to use the blue ray authoring abilities that were associated with this product. To include tools with this purchase that then have to be updated at cost in order to do this is bad marketing and lowers my still high esteem for this otherwise good product. Leave it to the marketing gurus to screw up even a good product with thier games. If you sell a product specifically for its blu ray capabilites it shouldnt require additional purchases like this one.

By the way, the support on this board is excellent I would give it an A. Compared to say the iomega support board this one is off the charts. I product like this lives and dies on the level of its support, good job!!!
