Hi..This is my first posting here and I hope you all can help.
I have Roxio Easy Creator Premier 9 that was installed on the Dell XPS 720 I purchased. I recently Burned (5) DVD-R Discs on my Toshiba VCR/DVD Recorder and wanted to make copies of them on my computer using the Roxio "Copy Disc" application. The first part "Insert Disc to be copied" seems to work fine. The disc is read then is ejected from Drive "E" which is my DVD Burn Drive. When the message "Insert a Blank or Rewritable CD into Drive "E" appears I insert a new Blank DVD-R Disc into Drive "E". After I do this the drive closes but then just keeps opening the drive and the same message to "Insert a Blank or Rewritable CD into Drive "E" keeps repeating. I cannot copy these disks for some reason.
What do you think the problem might be and can anyone offer some possible remedies for this problem?
Thanks

The Discs I used for both the initial burning and the attempted "Copying" were all MemorexDVD-R 4.7Gb.

All junk media. Try some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. Verbatim is available at stores, and Taiyo Yuden is only available online.

The Make/Model of the Recorder I used to initially "burn" the Discs is a Toshiba combination DVD Video Recorder and Video Cassette Recorder Model D-VR4. The DVD Recorder is for DVD-Ram/DVD-R/DVD-RW Recording.
The computer I have is a Dell XPS720 Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz, 3.0 GB of Ram. There are (2) Disc Drives. They are PBD DVD +- RW DH- 16W1S and PLDS DVD-ROM DH- 16D2S.

I find it odd the program keeps telling you to insert a "Insert a Blank or Rewritable CD into Drive "E", or is that mistake??
Put a DVD-R disc you recorded into a drive and see what disc and device utility or get disc ifo (depening on what version of Roxio) says about the disc??
