I bought the new version of Cineplayer for my second computer. It has no Frame by Frame feature, and no frame capture.

Are those features hidden somewhere?

I tried bring the file of an earlier version of Cineplayer from my older computer to the new, but it needs the correct recognition or Password in order to work. I would be happy to pay for a new password for the new computer to run the older version for frame grabbing ---which I need for my job. I have to do likenesses of people and animated characters, and I need as many pictures of them in different positions as I can get.

Roxio, if you are reading this, I have sent a similar note to your customer service. Please help me out.
best,
Jim

I would think that a purchased Cineplayer would include this feature

What version do you have? According to this link, it should be there

I believe I bought a Cineplayer 3. it was cheap and I assumed it would have all the features of the old cineplayer. I only need the one feature. I don't know if the 3.2 includes frame capture. The version you are showing me I believe is the old one I have on my older computer which needs a new graphics card so I cant access it. I have a service ticket to figure this out with Roxio.

This helps me out a lot as I didn't want all the extra stuff that's in the Creator 10 right now.

I just buy this old one you showed me if I don't hear from Roxio. I'll buy the 3.2 Cineplayer if it has frame capture. Although I guess i've learned my lesson that if it isn't in the specs it's probably stripped out. Thanks to both of you for the help!

I believe you have this Cineplayer which is by Sonic (although has Roxio on the box) and appears to be completely different from the one being sold as part of the Roxio Creator 2010 package. Leave it to Sonic/Roxio (or is it Roxio/sonic) to completely muddy the waters.

Or if it were Roxio/Sonic, it could be a.k.a. Roxic, or Ronic, or with the ever popular "i" prefix, iRonic. laugh.gif

I'm glad I stopped in here today and saw this.
I very rarely have any reason to capture my screen but should I need to, this will do nicely (and the price is right).
