Good day all,
I just installed Roxio Creator 10 and downloaded the service pack.

When attempt to launch the program I get a small spash screen that says 'Roxio' which disappears after a few seconds. An interface never does appear, but I do see the 'Roxio Burn Launcher' in the task manager.

Any ideas on how to make this application work or whats wrong?

Many thanks for your help
Bob

We haven't heard of Creator 10.  What software do you really have?  Since there is an Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 and a Roxio Creator 2010, your post only creates confusion.

It is obvious that you have a bad install, but let us know what version of the software you have, and we can go from there.

It looks like the clean install is what you have to do?

You're welcome.  It is a pain, but once you are up and running, there is a lot that you can do with the software.

Come back, and ask questions, if you need to.  There are lots of folks who try to help others.

Unfortunately that 10.2 is an OEM from Dell.  They modified it for your computer. Any change in operating system or in the computer itself would probably make it unusable.  Get in touch with Dell; they may have a free update or upgrade.

BTW, that computer is on the very low end of the specs for any of the full Creator products so be careful if you do decide to upgrade to a full package.
Regardless of what I say about computer maintenance, there is no need to defrag a solid state hard drive.
