If I install EMC 7.5 with just a CD Recorder, I know I will be unable to record/burn a DVD, but if I install a DVD recorder at a later date, will EMC 7.5 "see" the drive upon reboot?

So far so good but I haven't been spending a lot of time testing my DVD projects in the last few days.  Can you say burnout??  But I have played a bit with CD-DVD Speed trying to understand the finer points of disk quality/burning.  Thanks for nursemaiding me through the prelims.
