Hi,

I own Easy Media Creater 8 but can't fully edit music within the VideoWave program.

If I buy this standalone online, will I be able to edit an existing project and have access to more sound editing features?

No, that program will not help you, but EMC 8 Deluxe will let you do the fades, etc. the way it could be done in version 7.5.
