Hi everyone im new to the forum
bought ultimate 2009 a few days ago and have a couple of queries to get started.
Firstly can roxio compress Hi Def contant over 25gb to fit on a 25gb disc as I have camcorder files and would like to squeeze them onto the cheaper discs.
Also ultimate comes with blu ray capabilities does that mean the full blu ray plug in is built in.
I have some blu rays of camcorder footage written by a friend rather than buy a rom drive is it possible to connect my ps3 to my PC by cable and upload content from my existing discs
thanks
Blu ray compression

The size of a video file is meaningless… They are measured by TIME.
Here is a chart:
Blu-ray 25 GB Capacity:
HQ— 3:29
SP— 4:00
LP— 4:43
EP— 6:24
Blu-ray 50 GB Capacity:
HQ— 6:59
SP— 8:02
LP— 9:27
EP— 12:50
Oddly the BD Plug-in in the Creator 2010 Ultimate is for burning only... And of course you need a BD Burner to burn a disc. To play them you need a BD playing software or buy the BD Player upgrade for Roxio CinePlayer (works great!). Likewise a BD-ROM or BD Burner is required.
Yes you can split files and burn the parts.
